Journalists, members of Digital First Media and pretty much everyone else who wants to - are going to be taking part on the weekly Twitter chat at noon, Eastern Time.
Today we're talking about how to improve web videos in journalism. When is it appropriate to step back and do a little production vs. just uploading raw stuff? Also, ARE YOU STILL DOING TALKING HEADS? #becausecmonits2014. Bring your ideas, links and #realtalk.
AND YOUR APPS.
The feed is posted below. You can also check out past chats over here.
If you want to chime in, post a comment in the container or a tweet with the hashtag "#dfmchat" so it can automatically appear below.

Today we're talking about what to do when journalists have gruesome details during live coverage? Do you report them? If so, how? What, at least, should journalist consider and balance when reporting such events? Are we even doing that? Bring your ideas, links and #realtalk.

Here's your chance to dump me into a tank of water
How would you like to dunk me into a tank of water?
How about dunking Kingston Mayor Gallo's Best Friend* And Bearded Kingston Political Personman Brad Will?
The dunking booth at the Chronogram Block Party on Saturday on Wall Street in Kingston will victimize yours truly and Kingston's third ward alderman, along with Tommy Keegan of Keegan Ales; Joe Baganz of Joe Beez; the Rev. Duncan Burns of St. John's Episcopal Church; and Tom Cingel of Cingel Dental so brush your teeth and don't forget to floss, YOU!
The dunking booth takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. and it's a benefit for Angel Food East, a nonprofit volunteer program which provides daily, hot meals to people living with HIV and AIDS in Ulster County.
Five bucks (which goes to Angel Food East) for three balls, y'all.
But wait! Those who choose to dunk me will get a chance to record their prowess using Google Glass, to then be compiled into a megapost video of me getting repeatedly dunked in the water for your terrible, terrible amusement.
YOU'RE A TERRIBLE PERSON.
See you Saturday!
